Over 4,000 years ago, the Australian Aborigines began using Emu oil for healing and pain relief. After a hunt, they would wrap their elders in the skin of the Emu bird to lesson their aches.

What does Emu oil consist of?
Emu Oil consists of the following fatty acids:

- Palmitic 21.5%
- Palmitoleic 4.8%
- Steric 10.9%
- Oleic 45.6%
- Linoleic 13.9%
- Linolenic 0.6%
There are only three sources in the world that contain ideal ratios of Omegas 3, 6 and 9 for your body. They are deep sea fish oil, seal oil and Emu oil.
Is Emu oil edible?
Only pharmaceutical grade Emu oil is equal to a food grade. It is consumable having been refined at high temperatures for prolonged periods to eliminate any potential contaminants.
There are 3 grades of Emu oil manufactured. They are crude, cosmetic and pharmaceutical. Never consume any Emu oil unless you have been assured that it is a safe pharmaceutical grade
Since Emulate Emu oil is a pharmaceutical grade, it is completely safe to eat as long as you have not exposed the contents of the bottle to any bacteria or unsafe conditions.
Will my products spoil?
Since we use little or no preservatives, your Emu oil and Emulate products can spoil if not used within 18 months of purchase. However, shelf life can be extended through refrigeration if you don’t believe you will use them within that time.

What are suggested uses?

Apply pure American Emu oil at least twice daily or take the Emu oil capsules for relief of chronic pain, stressed or strained muscles and any type of joint ache.
